Almost There

I felt like I was signing my life away. All those papers and forms and threts from the bank to take away my firstborn if I don't (or my husband doesn't) cough up the $8,000 every month. So scary. But I think it's worth it. We're buying into the best neighborhood (the best sub-set of the best neighborhood, to be specific - the PS 321 school district) in New York. The Daily News said it's one of the 10 best neighborhoods in the country. I know plenty of people who would give their right arm (if not their firstborn) to be in my shoes right now. Well, maybe not at 7:26 am on the UWS surrounded by mountains of boxes (at least they're labeled - where did all this junk come from?) waiting for the movers to show up, but I know they're jealous of the apartment I scored. Or they will be if I ever get in and unpack and have people over. WHERE are the movers! They were supposed to be here at 7!
